Sunday through Thursday, the food is all-you-can-eat at Popei's — or at least, some of the food. On Sundays, it's bottomless baby back ribs. On Monday nights, it's all-you-can-eat clams. And on Thursday nights, the shrimp keep coming until you tell your server to stop. The daily specials highlight some of the best seafood and meats that Popei's has on the menu all week long.
If you decide to try the traditional menu, start with an appetizer like the coconut shrimp, the fried zucchini with tomato sauce, or the baked clams stuffed with bacon, cheese, and shrimp. Then dig into a sandwich, burger, or entree. The blackened tuna "burger" swaps out the beef for a cut of top-notch fish with mesclun mix, avocado, provolone cheese, and chipotle mayo on top. The Popei special plate presents a smorgasbord of seafood, including mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari, all tossed over linguini with garlic and butter. The paella showcases shrimp, clams, mussels, and lobsters atop a bed of Spanish rice and andouille sausage. Pick your favorite dish and savor the fresh seafood at Popei's.
